The apartments are located on pedestrian Comtal street, just beside Portal de l'Àngel, one of the most commercial streets in Barcelona, which links Plaça Catalunya and the Gothic District (Barri Gótic) and the Cathedral.

The therein monument ensemble is really large, dating from Roman to Liberty style (Modernismo) times. The Cathedral, the Gothic church of Sta. Maria del Mar and the Liberty style Palau de la Musica Catalana stand out among many other monuments.
